awesome. im glad to hear they replaced the part for you. did you ever find out if it was a fake or it was just a bad product?

 

that's a false statement. T304 will not rust, T409 will get surface rust only, it will never rust or corode through. The 409 is a low carbon steel with about 12 percent of chromium in it that creates a magnetic pull and will get the surface rust.

Seriously, I have the same exhaust. No problems, but I do take care of it. Haha I scrub it and dry it everytime i wash, and from time to time, a polish the visible parts of it. aha

 

IMO, Tanabe is a very reliable company for exhausts. No problems for me.

 

you call that "reliable" from buying just ONE exhaust?


the only reason why i would root for tanabe is because they now
own SpeedStarRacing (SSR) which is one of my favorite wheel
manufacturers...

otherwise probably not the highest quality i would expect from
a japanese manufacturer.

 

Yes only because I take care of it. LOL that is a good point but I've had friends with Tanabe products as well nd they haven't had problems.
