Ok, I have to prototype kit installed. I will try to have pics up this weekend but I have a mountain bike race tomorrow and I'm riding sunday.

Just a little review, the sound is amazing, likea totally different motor! I noticed a little more pull but 90% of the driving I did on the way home was on cruise on the highway so we'll see.

Hey Guy's

My name is Gerry Sica from PRM.
The fit intakes will be ready for sale in about 3 weeks.
if you have any questions regarding this intake system please
feel free to contact me, i'm not sure if i can reply to PM yet,if not
e-mail me @ prm@look.ca.
This is a cold air intake that draws air from the fender well, no need to
go down low, its safe in rain- looks great- sounds awsome & performs.
as far as hp figures, we haven't dynoed it yet, the filter size is perfect
for this engine,it's the same filter we use on the 92-95 civic si
with 129 hp, this filter out performed all other intakes on the dyno.

Gerry

hey nick,
thanks for orchestrating this intake development !!
sorry it took so long. just wanted to get it right.
need to fabricate some tooling to house the air temp & pcv line
on the silicone bend, i tried to make the complete system out of aluminum
but the bends were to tight.i'm very happy how the kit turned out.
need some time to get some dyno figures, i'm assuming 5 to 8 hp,
all depends on how restictive the stock air box is, i bet it makes as much or better hp then the leading kit out there, we always make good power. kieth gave me a wide open throttle on his way out, sounds great !!

You will have another sale in CA as soon as you can post that the Fit intake is ready to ship. Please post pricing when you are ready. I don't need dyno figures because this system can't make any more, or less, power than the other CAI's on the market, but I am curious about dyno results anyway. I really like the clean design of the system and the ability to perform as a cold air system without hanging the filter behind the bumper, exposed to dirt and mud, and without having to sacrifice a fog light.

Can you tell us any more about your experience with it in normal driving? Sound levels, your perceptions of power gains, fuel economy changes for the better or worse--- etc. etc.??

Thanks in advance for further info. BTW, how did you do in your mtn. bike race?

You only get one chance to make a first impression. Weapon-R seems to have blown that chance, with a lot of people, on a lot of products.
