I don't think that's 100% true, but I do not want to send this thread off-topic.

Count me in for one of the first batch please. Black silicone tube is fine. Thanks a lot for your fast action on the design for the Fit! I am ready for PayPal or credit card any time you are.

I'll definitely be waiting to see comparisons and experience with the intake in contrast to other short ram intakes out there. For the price of a chamber intake, this intake really has to stand out over the other similar ones out there to really seal the deal as a purchase.

marty-
I emailed my contact info. to Gerry just to cover all bases, to be sure that I participate in the product launch. Gerry replied right away, reassuring me that they will be ready in about 2 weeks, and that he will contact me for payment at that time.

Suggestion for European buyers- ask for Parcel Post shipments. I am getting ready to ship an order to one of my dealers in Copenhagen, Denmark, and I would rather ship via UPS, FedEx, or Airborne Express. My Danish customers insist on mail shipment because import duty is reduced by about 75%, and time in customs is also reduced. I don't know what shipping means Gerry has in mind in his shipping cost statement.

Downside- the merchandise spends 3-4 weeks on a boat, and the reliability of it actually arriving is reduced by about the same percentage as the customs cost. Just teasing- all of my shipments to Denmark over the last 6 years got there OK, just SLOWLY.

All european orders are ship via express mail postal service
7 to 8 days, we've been using this service for over ten years,
never a problem.

thanks !!

Sorry for the delay I was away all weekend.

To answer some questions.

Volume - under heavey acceleration it's loud, with a really nice sound (my girlfriend loves it! ). When your just cruising at moderate throttle it's almost as quiet as stock.

Fuel Milage - I don't keep specific track of it as long as it's close to the same everytime. I haven't noticed any major change in my regular driving (25% city, 75% highway) but on some long highway trips I seems to be a bit better then it used to.

So I switched back to the stock air box for a day just for kicks and driving the car was so much less fun then with the intake, I love it. The car seems to accelerate faster and passing on the highway seems easier.

One of the first nights I had it I went for about an hour long drive it was about 25*C and pretty humid with lost of heavy acceleration and right after pulling into my driveway I popped the hood and the aluminum part of the intake was still cold, not warm, I mean cold. So to all the people that think this thing is going to suck hot air your wrong.

Hey Gerry, put my down for the first blue one you get, Thanks

Keith

Auto Tranny

As far as i know, AT should not be a problem, this intake does not
go down where AT present a problem for other cold air intakes.
So i'm going to have to say yes, this will fit AT too.
