the guys at opak racing did it on a white fit. im not sure how much they paid for the trans. but they retail for 4300. on Honda Parts and Accessories they are about 3100 and i bet you could find one for even cheaper at a junkyard.

other stuff

The tranny itself is only the beginning. You'll need an ECU, the hangers and linkage for the shifter and countless other little pieces. Going from manual to auto would be far easier (throwing parts out). Selling your auto and buying a manual fit would be cheaper. I'd bet many aspects of your warranty would be history as well. Next ime weigh the ups/downs of your transmission choice BEFORE you get the car. Good luck.

You'd be money ahead to sell your current Fit and purchase one with a MT.

shoulda bought a MT fit in the first place!!!

but, you'd lose a LOT in the value of your fit by swapping it, probably void the warranty, and never have a stock equipped MT fit

the only way it would be worth it imo is if you were doing a k-swap.

Thats the truth. When I did my Integra LS auto--> GSR manual swap the tranny was the biggest PITA (had to custom weld mounts), but since I was already swapping everything else I had to swap to 5s.

Its def only worth it if you do complete engine swap, otherwise just enjoy those padals!

For the auto to manual swap, the parts you'd need are as follows. Theres quite a few parts and I may be missing some.

Transmission
Trans mount
Axles
Halfshaft
Clutch
Flywheel
Clutch lines
Master Cylinder
Shift cables
shifter
Clutch pedal
ECU

As I said I may be missing a couple things.
