Lightbulb T1R Vs. Password: JDM

Ok, after looking at all of the CAIs and there respective cost of each i still have not been able to make a solid unquestioned choice. I know that the deciding factor comes down to personal choice, but i am very influenced by proven facts and stats. Above and beyond what looks good it doesnt matter to me if it performs well, ( Althouth i do like the looks of the Password the best). I hear alot of good things about the T1r. Everybody loves theirs. Are there any negatives? Any other input?
On the contrary I have only seen one pic on Fit freak of the Password: JDM. Anybody have positive input, any negative? If there are any other brands of CAIs that you would suggest i look at, please give me the info on them.

First, these are NOT CAI's... they are chamber intakes.

T1R is a better price and will give you better results from everything I have seen and heard on here.

Also look at the H-Fit Intake, is a bare bones chamber intake that has great results and reviews.

Im sorry, i assumed that CAI stood for Carbon Fiber Air Intake. The one thing i do have my mind set on is that the intake be carbon fiber.

J's Racing intake is a combo of a camber intake and a cold air intake in carbon fiber. Too bad there's only like 4 or something (correct me if I'm wrong)

T1R:
I have that one and love the noice cf look to it. Plus it look s AWSEOME. Also, it performs well (one of the best IMO). Pretty pricy. I love mine and wouldnt trade it for any other intake.

Password "whale penis":
Also a badass intake but more costly and performance is NOT proven as I understand it. Only reason I'd get that is cuz T1R is starting to be common now so that kinda sucks for me (or those that have the T1R).

Me, I say get the password so less people have the T1R

lol, but honestly though, T1R>Password....ANY day.

Yea, one of the reasons I was leaning toward the Password is because it doesnt seem like that many ppl have one. I cant stand to be one of many who has the same product as 100,000 other ppl. I would rather be one of 100, evev if it means getting made fun of. But only of coarse, if it is worth it.

Easy to miss, there are 3 basic types of intakes;

SRI = Short Ram Intake
Just like it sounds, short and stout, replaces the stock box with a short pipe and usually picks up air usually through a cone. Gives the car a nice boost.

CAI = Cold Air Intake
I personally think these are the bomb, they have amazing gains in the high end RPM range. no CF versions availaible except the hybrid J's one mentioned above... but it is also like 800 something bucks. Basically a long tube running from your throttle body down into your bumper. Changing the filter can be a pain, but you benifit from the long tube and a fresh supply of cold air. Good ones are the Fujita, AEM (with Anti-Hydrolock) & A-Spec. If you have an automatic car you MUST go with the Injen CAI because it is the only one that fits.

Camber Intake (No abbreviations established yet )
Great for responce, provides a nice boost throughout the power band.

i would prefer T1R over the password.

1) if you buy the password you have to buy the battery relocation kit
2) T1R you dont have to mod anything
3) both put out about the same as far as gains
4) make it easy on yourself and go with what people know and good things you hear.......obviously T1r

^ with t1r you still have to take off the battery cover

if money wasnt an issue I'd think id go with passwords just for the looks and uniqueness.

i really wouldnt call that a mod but for something less expensive you can just buy the T1R instead of buying another battery

yeah they don't fit the auto, but in may i went to the shop and they were using my car to test fit a new bracket to fit the auto, but after going there 3 times or so they just stopped calling so i just forgot about it, its been three months. i think i'll send them an email today to see whats up and see if they are still trying to make it fit the AT.

Do you think it would be too hard to put it in without getting their Batt?
