i am not really sure all i know is that he's cleaning the combustion bowl and did something to that thing. he mentioned to me that he's doing the 3 angle valve porting

i notice a big difference when i drove it. the kickdown is responsive, a lot power coming out in high rpm. i did the porting stuff and change the header at the same time. that would make a big difference i guess.

you mentioned about porting head, do you mean the cylinder head? if i am not mistaken if we port the cylinder head it would make the engine compression higher, am i right?

it would make compression higher if milled the head down. imagine laying the head on the table with the combustion chamber facing up. then taking a file and shaving over the surface of the head. this makes the combustion chamber smaller and raises compression. i want to know if the intake port in the side of the head leading to the combustion chamber has been ported open bigger than factory size? its the passage way that leads to the valve.

i heard from my friend while ago, he told me that his friend did that porting stuff. he made the hole from the intake and fuel bigger and exhaust hole bigger too. i hope i explained it well, he did extreme port to compete in drag race.

was it on a fit though? the L15a has some pretty thin sidewalls in the ports.

yes it is, auto tranny fit. i see i just knew that L15A has thin sidewalls.

my friend did some heavy mods i guess. he changed cam + adjustable cam gear, using forged piston connecting rods, rebalanced crankshaft, using stand alone ecu, adding some extra injector, coilover, big brake kit. i dont know how much it cost him right now to build that fit

i might need to ask him what kind of cam he use. is it increase the engine horsepower if we use a higher degree or better cam?

ARC is garbage. I used to own an S2000 and theres tons of dynos that show about a 5whp loss with it. Call it the "hot air intake". And with the tiny room in the engine bay im sure the box will most likely be right next to the header and radiator. They do that with all their intakes... They do look nice though.

Im probably going with password. 1 or 6 horsepower I wont tell the difference. Plus $40 more bucks I get the lightweight battery and relocator. Plus the filter sits deeper in the fender which will probably get cooler air than the T1R will.

While I am a big fan of T1R and have there coils I will probably get the Password simply from the dynos on there site you gains about the same and it seems like a better value.

Kyler how is the quality of there carbon??

I have the PWJDM intake and i love it, the only down side to that intake is the battery relocation, but PWJDM supplied a kit with everything.

There is the Tsuchinoko CAI made of carbon fiber that I am considering...its close to $800 for an intake though.....
Best results? Apparently.
I just don't know if the 07/08 intake will fit into my 09 Fit Sport. If anyone can lecture me on that one that will be great.

the 07/08 intakes will not fit on the 09 fits. the engine compartment is built differant so you would need differant angles on the intake. PRM is developing an 09 intake so jut wait for them. the Tsuchinoko CAI is the j's racing one right?
