Performance Chip?

I found this chip off ebay and I was wondering if it would really do what it says it would. Anone know? I cant really add an intake/headers and whatn ot cause of my warranty so I figured this is better than nothing. Any suggestions?

Those things are a hoax. They just sell you a resistor to add to your O2 sensor on the intake side. This gives a false reading to your ECM/PCM adding fuel evenly across the board and 99.9999999999% decreasing your Hp (from adding too much fuel resulting in running rich), and decreasing economy.

Don't fall for it. It's a $0.08 piece from an electronics store that they sell you for $10.00.

I'll just repeat what everyone else said, it's a lie. It doesn't work. Most likely the only thing it will do is make your check engine light turn on.

Use the "search" feature- there are thousands of posts that answer your question. Short answer for real power- spend $3-4000. on a supercharger or turbocharger kit.

i just wanted to further clarify for you since it seems you may be prone to falling for another scam performance mod; manxman means $3000-$4000. $3 would most likely just get you a fake performance mod, such as an electric supercharger.

Yes Mike, that's what I meant. I didn't really think that he would take it that he could buy any FI setup for $3.00, but you're right- you never know, and you can never be too clear or precise.

And thanks again for your part in making the Blitz Throttle Controller available on the forums. I still grin whenever I click that little sucker on. I would have mentioned it to the OP, but they are now too hard to find (at least temporarily). And, they don't make more power, just make better use of existing power- so they don't quite fit what he seems to want.

if you want more power, you should get another car. the fit isnt made to be a speed monster. its an economy car that can take the family safely here and there. and it does an awesome job at that.
