Best place to purchase Engine Mounts??!

I'm in dire need of some new mounts for the Fit...

Anyone know where I can get these at the best prices?

So far I've searched and have only found 3 places... I'm looking for the 60A steel mounts from Innovative.
  • Local speed shop wants $475cdn + tax
  • Innovative Mounts wants $390US shipped to Canada (UPS brokerage/duty not included)
  • Swapshop.com wants $340US shipped to Canada.
  • I emailed Password JDM to see if they can get them as well

Well.. since no one replied to my post, I did the best I could and found free shipping within the US for Innovative Mounts 10850 and 10851 kits. 10850 is for manual, and 10851 is for auto.

Retail pricing and direct purchase from Innovative is $350 + shipping.

Swap Shop Racing prices are $310 for 60A, +$10 for 75A and 85A.

how can you tell how hard you want the mounts to be? is there any performance advantages other than your engine staying still in the bay?

The stiffer the mount the better power transfer to the ground. But this comes at the cost of cabin vibration.

If you have basic bolt ons all you need is the 60A mounts. If you are making a lot more power over stock then I'd go 75A. If you only track your car and don't daily drive it you can go to 85A stiffness.

I talked to Ben at AJR, the Alex mounts are way too stiff for regular day to day use.

would it be worth it to get the 75a now if i plan on boosting later. any idea how much more vibration these would cause?

From what I was told by Innovative it's personal preference.. if you go with 60A mounts you will notice a slight difference over stock.. a little more vibration at cold start up and a touch more through the steering wheel..

If you go 75A, you will benefit more by being able to transfer power to the ground quicker and have less "delay" in acceleration. But this will come at the cost of increase interior rattles and a bit more engine noise. It is bearable, but it comes down to whether you want mor comfort or more performance.

If you plan on boosting go 75A.

Does Innovative sell the poly engine mounts separately?

I like to get just get the driver side piece only. In my past cars I had full set poly engine mounts (55-60A) and the vibration gets annoying. In many cases one poly mount is usually good enough to reduce engine movement that induces wheel hop.
