So it is 5/17 and i have seen anyones dyno results yet. I have a stock fit that is waiting to be done right but I want to see the dyno results. If this doesnt put down a modest gain then i will save for the supercharger.

Sorry, the guy who runs the shop is gone for May long

Follow this link to my kick-off thread for now, I am talking with the guy this week & will have results ASAP.

Just thought I would bump this thread and do some shameless promoting

I attended a race school this week... The fit posted fastest time of the day against 18 competitor cars with drivers of various skill levels. Check out the link for some pics and info;

If I can ever get this stupid dyno booked (looking at using a different shop now) I am betting the Fit is putting out a lot of low end & mid range power that wasn't there before.

just to share my intake manifold dyno result. It actually showed power loss @ low rpm range based on my previous tune result and had to retune back to get back my low end powerband. Am using unichip. The original L bracket to secure the flange is also off by 3mm and I could hear knocking sound @ low rpm (still trying to find out what is causing it).

any gains in the upper rpm range? The power loss in the lower rpm is expected but would be worth it for a decent enough gain let's say past 3500rpms

Not much gain, I would say 1% to 2% based on dyno chart. Butt dyno feels good though could be overwhelm by the intake roar. Btw mine is iDSI engine.

Does anybody manage to secure the flange with the stock L bracket? It seems to be off and the vibration could have caused the cracking without fixing the bracket.

It sounds like piston knocking at low rev range... and mine does not have the egr port groove. Anyway to sent back for replacement or refabricate it?

Chances are its the heat shield, you've hit the resonant frequency and it vibrates. Mine does the same at about 2500rpm.
