Cams Honda fit Fit

Sorry for any confusion on the 2014 and 2015, We have yet to develop cams for the DOHC. motor, we will grind the them for 540,00 plus an additional 325.00 core deposit, then when you sends us you old cores (CAMS), we will refund the 325.00 deposit. (Group buys available)
We have not posted any Fit parts on our web site, as our web guy is missing in action, and he alone can get in the site, we are currently considering building a new site, if we can’t locate him. Yes email me for dyno stuff atbill@gude.com thanks Bill

Thank you Bill! I'll be emailing you shortly for the dyno info. I posted your info about the cam regrind in another thread for the 2015 Fits here --> 2015 Gude Cams

I hope to be doing business with you in the near future. Will be in touch. I'm not interested in a group buy. Perhaps someone else will set that up.

I feel I owe this forum an apology, I stated Dyno test results on a 2002 Fit, of which, I have a copy of the dyno runs. The problem arises however after spending a week researching; I could not prove that the runs were beyond dough done on a Fit, as they were run over 12 years ago.

The Fit project was dropped as a person would have to almost dismantle the whole engine, just to put in a cam, and it was deemed unlikely to sell many cams or parts.

I will extend an offer to grind a free cam for someone who would install a Gude fit cam and furnish accurate before and after dyno readings, this is a one person deal. We have sold 2002 to 2009 and 2010 and up to 2011 cams and the customers like them. We have not done the new dual cam but might be interested. Thanks Bill Gude

I would love to test out a GD3 cam for sure! I am one of the rare few looking to get all I can out of the L15A.

delta cam will do a gd3 cam easily since the information is out there. there hard part is locating a cam gear to time the cam so that the powerband doesn't shift to high up.

I'm STILL waiting on Deltacam to regrind the brand new 2015 cams I sent them months ago. Although I can reach them by phone, everytime I talk to them, they say they should be able to do the cams....soon. Once they said they sent them too me. Nope...no dice.

So don't hold your breath.

I agree with you. I sent in a gd3 cam shortly after you did and have been waiting ever since. Guess it's not as simple as getting a d16 cam from them.

Nice! Looks like he put level2 with stock internals. So no worries about piston to valve clearance.

I ordered level2.2 and valve springs, valve stems, and head gasket. Looking forward to the arrival.

Since this thread is about cams in general, I guess I should put an update here for the 2015. They did send me the cams back and I have them installed now. The car ran .5 seconds slower (with intake and exhaust mods) than before the cams were installed.

I tested this in December. Ran a 15.6 at a local track had cams installed and went straight to the track next week, same weather conditions.. Battery was disconnected during cam install. Ran a 16.1. 1/4 mile trap speeds were 3mph slower too 89mph to 86mph. Cams are the most aggressive I can get with the stock ECU. They are equivalent to the older 272 grinds on previous model Hondas. NO check engine lights. No drivability issues.

Car is back to running mid 15's with a mod I did right after testing the cams. All this is to say that I believe the power band has moved upward in the rpm range and I'm gonna need a tune to take advantage of it. Can't wait and am looking to be the first N/A fit to crack into the 14's.

Here's a video of it idling with the cams.
