i buy stuff from ebay all the time. From car parts to snowboard gear. It's legit. Just make sure you check the feed back score. Power seller's with high scores are always good. And always use paypal. For my Fit, i've bought an intake, lug nuts, stickers, shiftknobs, taillights, wheels, and JDM badging.

not a big fan of Tanabe. I prefer Spoon, mugen and js racing who are specializing in Honda tuning.

no, if you purchase from a power seller or someone who has awesome feedback score wouldnt really scam you. paypal is the safest way to pay. shipping time really depends on the type of service, you really dont want things delivered on the boat. read the fine print carefully, especially about the shipping. for HI, some might charge more.

usually paypal will send you an email saying that your package was shipped, which usually ships the next day if you buy from a power seller. They are more serious about making their customers happy. And you will receive an email from the seller too with a tracking#. It never took more than 5-6 days for those ebay items to get to my door step

How long it takes is going to differ on every seller, where they are located, what shipping options are available/you chose, etc. Ebay is big enough and has been around for so long that as long as you use some common sense you'll get what you're looking for at possibly good deals. Make sure to stick with sellers with high feedback ratings when you're purchasing pricey items like exhausts, and use paypal (didn't Ebay make it so you can only use paypal now anyways?).

Hell, I'd trust buying an item off ebay from the right seller over buying something from a person on a forum like Honda-tech or even here. These days Ebay is more about business/commercial sale, not personal auctions for junk. If you're looking to buy a Tanabe exhaust, the only people you'll see selling them are companies selling auto parts on ebay, like import shops and such.
