Transmission options

I've been thinking about how much fun it was to have LSD in my old car and how much I would like to have it again, and I was thinking about an aftermarket LSD, but then comes the cost, then I have to uninstall the tranny, install the diff, then reinstall the tranny, and aftermarket LSD would really be a last option for me as I would rather have an OEM setup. Has anyone looked into the possibility of swapping in a K series transmission? Or was there a JDM option that had factory LSD?

i don't think even JDMs have LSD as an option. You don't really need it since the car only has like 120whp after NA mods... 165whp with turbo.

I don't think the k-tranny will fit the L15a.

finally, if you want a "factory feeling LSD." the mfactory LSD is gear based, so that should be a safe bet, at what you are looking for.

Power is no matter, the point of LSD is all about putting what the car has to the ground.

Limited-slip differential. I'm only familiar with people using these off-road. What benefit would it have in a Fit?

LSD is one of the best handling mods someone can do. The Mfactory is a helical LSD and doesnt require any special oils and has a much longer life than the clutch type LSDs and dont require rebuilds. Ive had mine for awhile now and I LOVE it.

How much did it run you? I'd rather find an oem option to avoid opening up the transmission, but if this is my only option, its my only option.
