DIY intake vs. ebay intake?

DIY intake vs. ebay intake?
So I was about to build a SID-style intake as per this forum, but then I'm seeing these cheap intake kits on ebay for about $20 less than it costs to piece it together?

Anyone use one of these before?

I beleive its the same SSR with just some bit of modifications... it should work the same way =P
