Socal tuning help!
What is everyone using to tune they're cars? I have an HKS turbo kit and an aem water/meth kit that I just got installed but I'm having a hard time finding someone who will tune it.

i need some help or suggestions! need to get my car back on the road
**update**
i ordered an AEM f/ic to replace the f-con that came with my kit, but will the jumper harness for the f-con work or do i need to order a new harness too?

OK. so i got the harness and fic and everything hooked up and ive been messing with it ATLEAST trying to get a good enough tune to drive it down to a shop which would be about a 90 miles trip an i really dont wanna go through the hassle of towing it there.. but it seems like no matter what i do it wont boost? i have everything hooked up but it cuts out the second it starts to see ANY boost at all. :/

i have some 310cc injectors and i have the meth kit turned off right now. i got it down there for a tune but now i have a new problem i thought the "resister mod" would help me but i guess it doesnt work on fits? ha but anyways, every time i get on it it stutters or stumbles around 4,500 rpms. it gets progressively worse and worse as the car warms up..

Did you ever get your car sorted?
I had that problem when I would go out of town from where I live. The problem is the voltage you clamped at in the FIC. I had a hell of a time getting help with this problem. Basically what you want to do is observe the voltage reading the FIC sees with the key on engine off in the gauges setting window. Then clamp under that to cover you when you go into elevation. You see, the voltage you observe at key on engine off is what the stock ecu sees as absolute manifold pressure or 0psi any voltage past that is letting the ecu see boost and why your car is freaking out = no boost.
So here is what I did: (example)
At almost sea level (where I live) the key on engine off voltage I see is 3.0V
In AZ (where I frequent) I see key on engine off voltage of 2.6V
So I clamp at 2.3V to cover even more elevation and tune from there. Problem solved! Remember that all your other values will need to be adjusted to compensate for the adjusted voltages! (also do this on your own don't just input my voltages, every car is different.)
IDK if you are active on the AEM FIC boards but generally you can get decent help over there, you just can't be in a hurry because it takes forever for someone to reply with decent info! Haha
