Is it safe to drive?

I have the HKS kit with intercooler, full exhaust w/catdelete. I am planning on putting some 310 or 370cc injectors in it. My question is Is it safe to drive roughly 300 miles to the nearest HKS tuner without a tune with the larger injectors. I live in Charlotte NC and the closest is in Atlanta GA and I don't want to pay the shop to put them in. I am goin there obviously to have them juice me up to around 10psi. I just need to know if I can get there without hurting my baby.

Thanks!

keep you babay under vacumn and below roughly 2500rpm. I had my car installed a SC and 310cc injector. I did a base map to my fic(mainly is to use rescale the injector size) and did a 100mile run in yesterday before my tuner arrivals.
But I will remove the FIC tomorrow as I have my Vpro coming tomorrow. You know why I think.
300mile is a long drive bro. average speed would be 60km/h.

I don't know if you have tried yet, but if you are on the f-con you could pull it off, but you would be running very rich and that isn't good for the car, things may get fouled etc because the f-con is base tuned to run with the stock 185 cc injectors.

Why not bring any tools you need and change the injectors when you get there?

IF our ecu's are like the rest that i know, if you let it idle for 5-10 minutes it will return the ratio to stoic... and as you drive, so long as you don't put it into open loop or boost, it will keep it at 14.7...

you'd need a wideband to confirm this however...

running larger injectors will cause the car to have trouble idling and/or driving. Best thing to do is install the injectors at the tuning session.
