Pipings for the 1300 I-DSI

Is it okay to keep the stock headers/manifold but change to 2inch pipings all the way to the muffler ???
Remember, my engine is only the 1300 i-dsi.
So far, I took out the cat and replaced it with a test pipe that has 2 holes for the sensors.
Kept all the original pipings and replaced the stock muffler with a bolt on Spoon N1 muffler.
I made more power, no joke.
But I'm now in the process of a big bore throttle body. So is it wise to change all my pipings to 2inch outer
By the way, when I do, I wanna take out the resonator
Help mods / anyone
Thanks in advance ! ! ! Newbie here ! ! !
