I-dsi Turbo question

I have a few questions regarding turbocharging the L13 (jdm) I-DSI engine... I have spent quite a while searching the forum and google though I can't find much relevant information on IDSI turbo charging.

Someone I spoke to about this said 180 bhp was possible on the 1.3 on standard internals? Though I have nothing to back this up with as the only IDSI engine I have seen is the 1.5, although I did read a post from 2006 on this forum stating there is no point turbocharging the idsi engine.

Quite confusing as there seems to be allot of contradiction when to find certain info online

But... My main questions are:

• I-DSI 1.3 turbo possible?

• What would be the best turbo for quick spool and power delivery?

• What is a safe amount of boost on the I-DSI engines?

• Would dual spark cause any problems with mapping etc?

• Does anyone have a ROUGH bhp or whp figure that could be achievable and relatively safe?

Hopefully someone can help!

Yes it is possible. Beware because the ISDI is built to run WAY LEAN compared to the VTEC engine to get better fuel mileage. Basically it is the same engine with a different head so any HP figures for the 1.3 would be compareable with the 1.5 BUT remember it is less cc so reduce you goals a bit from what they get from the 1.5.

Your main problem is tuning.

Decide/find a way to get detailed engine data logs and how to tune your Fuel and Spark tables, as well as how to compensate for boost at the MAF sensor.

ISDI don't have maf sensors.

i will planning to bolt on my idsi l13a 1.4 idsi ..i now hard to fine out turbo turbine suit to idsi engine. my planning turbo tdo4l gsr or ct9 turbo from toyota starlet ep81 .. or gt20 from garret turbine..

My question .. how many cc injector stand for l13a idsi.
