Looks to be the same design as the stock header and downpipe.
Im sure it would gain some power. Someone should test it. Only $175. I was thinking about getting it. I dont have my car yet though.

Stock next to WeaponR header.

So the weapon R deletes the cat? ewwww...no bueno.
I dunno, you get what you pay for.

....and you get what you inspect not what you expect.

From what I see it looks like the Weapon R header is a 4-2-1 and the obx is a 4-1. I have always heard that a 4-1 always seems to decrease throttle reponse under low rpm because of restrictive flow. But im thinking it might be the opposite if you have such a small displacement motor it might need the more dense piping to get a stronger flow, just a thought.

I personally think the WeaponR intake, header, and exhaust combo dynoed shat.

4-1 is designed for more top end power while 4-2-1 is for more mid range power.
From what Ive read....
Those pics were just comparing the stock header designed compared to the OBX. Its basically identical just looks as if it flows nicer. But you cant tell.

THERE IS STILL TO BE PROVEN IN ONE OF UR FITS. I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY NOW , BUT IF I HAVE IT, IWOULD BUY IT AND IN CASE THAT DOESN'T WORK THEN i WILL CUT IT AND USE IT AS A BASE FOR A TURBO HEADER

Many friends have OBX Race Header on Civic Type-R EP3, same gain of a Jackson racing race header, just must reinforce the arm going to silent block. Why the K20 move too much.
If you look on the fit you don't have arm going to silent block. It's oK.

I think you cannot lose HP with it, why you delete the CAT and you lose height(kg).
But i think the Weapon R it's better (4-2-1), now look the price.

Yes the OBX SS Headers have been installed.

Guess you missed my thread detailing the OBX SS Headers on my FIT.
