'Mythelogy' lightened crank pulley

I was just pointing out that the link went nowhere. What I suspect though is that there is no Mythelogy Racing Team (you know established, with cars that they race professionally). If there is then where? They make a cool pulley. Mythelogy does that is. What else do they have?
You may be right and they may have been planning ahead.
On the other hand if there really is no Mythelogy Racing Team then it's misleading in that it's mention on the ad alone is designed to lead people to believe the product was designed by by a Professional Racing Team.
Hate it, but I pay attention to details like that. Bet I wasn't the only one to try the web address before it was redirected.
Questioning Quality...
So I got my Mythelogy pulley last Thursday and installed it half an hour later and I am slightly concerned about a few things.
1. There are no timing marks on my pulley.
2. There are no indications that the pulley was balanced. (If you look at the stock pulley you will more than likely see a dimple or 2 or 3. These are to balance the pulley, because the L15 is internally balanced just like every other Honda engine and the pulley has to be balanced otherwise it will throw off the balanced engine).
3. The rubber portion of the pulley, which is supposed to do the dampening, does not go all the way through the pulley like the factory pulley (and every other "dampener pulley" that any other automobile uses). Other than those 3 concerns the pulley is pretty nice.
It is definately lighter and installation was a breeze. I have a MT and I did notice the engine to be a little more rev happy. I cannot tell you what kind of impact it has on my gas mileage yet, it is currently at the bodyshop getting the front bumper and lip replaced (I hit a racoon
, it was more of a small dog than a racoon
).
I typically get around 35 mpg. I can get 39 mpg if I keep my lead foot tame. I will inform you guys if there is any mpg increase after a couple of fill-ups. But I don't know how much longer I will keep the pulley on if it is not balanced
.

the pulley is made from a billet aluminum block which is balanced already. any unbalanced peices are scrapped. The stock pulley has the dimples because it was not balanced to begin with. As for the timing marks i don't know.

Have to wait and see. I'll most likely install mine this weekend.

you should notice a real difference in 1st gear. getting started to max rpm was very fast IMO. i also think having the pulley installed with other mods like I/H/E will benefit even more because it should get the rpm's up quicker to where the other performane mods have the most benefit.
I just had to take a road trip from Long Island to Giant's Stadium and back yesterday(Jets vs. Bears) to see if it works.
My car does rev really quickly now. Holding the stock pulley in my hand I was pretty shocked at the weight difference of the mythelogy pulley. Wish I could dyno my car but oh well...
I/H/E - definitely an improvement in my AT Sport! Midrange the car does pull better than before and going up those inclines that used to make the auto downshift, it just stays now!
Next up, I plan on doing a "home depot" Ram Air to feed that SRI...
