Probably have to use an air impact gun! Or somehow hold the pulley from moving while you loosen.

Whats the final word on the Myth pulley? Does the dampening it have work or not? I honestly understand that tech article that was posted a few pages back and I don't want to eliminate the harmonic damper, I've seen different materials crack when they resonate against their natural frequency and I have also known cars that have gotten long term damage from pulleys. So whats the word?

Once again the stock Jazz/Fit pulley does NOT have any harmonic damping AT ALL you could run the engine with NO PULLEY. IT'S JUST A PULLEY.

I have 15k miles on my summit pulley with no problems.
And I have no extra vibrations, I use a gatorback belt,
that prevents belt slippage, so by gentlely tightening
the belt, you prevent NVH from the belt & pulley

But... what did you not like about your Mythelogy to make you switch to the Summit?

Here's the us distributor, looks like they redsigned the pulley.
I have no idea how much it weighs.

Hi claymore, all,
sorry for dumbness. Is it correct to suppose that even my 1.2 DSi won't have a harmonic dampener on its stock pulley? I plan to check with my eyes anyway...

That is good to know, I was hoping the T1R would be ready but I havn't heard anything about it for a while. Maybe I will go with this one instead

Anybody have comparison notes between this pulley and the UR set (disregarding the Alt pulley)? Any advantages or disadvantages other than weight... or basically the same product?

Get the Gatorback belt from autozone, its cheap. prevents slipping and don't overtighten it! It only needs to be mildly tight, so you get no increase in NVH with the aftermarket pulley.
