Honda fit l15a1 with 263/259° cat cam run with no remap
Hello guys,
I have a honda fit L15A1 MT with 110 horsepower.
I DONT LIKE TURBO
I m going to put a megan racing 4-1 header, a cat cam drop in
263 / 259° , and increase compression ratio with a ported and polished cylinder head
i wanna reach 135/140 hp all n/a
A question if i run my Little fit in top speed with all these without remap the ecu.
I CAN BREAK A PISTON?? or the risk is to low??
thanks for all

you want to change the volumetric efficiency of the motor without remapping the engine?
Just adding those parts wont get you to 130/140hp. In a best case scenario your car will start running lean and you will burn the rings.
The piston is not the weakest link in this scenario.
To get to the hp goal you want look at running 4-2-1 header, gk5 pistons, 3 angle valve grind, and bowl blending work.
Tuning is the biggest part to making power. All the bolt in parts wont just get you to the power goal you want.

the megan header 4-1 and try to increase 15 hp , to sad

It wont increase power that much. Try look at running a datsek q1 chip to tune your car since you are not running a DBW ecu.
Tuning is very important with these little motors. A guy up here tried to drop in a 272 cam and lost most of his low end power.

Yes I would start there and be sure to find a tuner that can tune it for you.
If not that then look at the aem fic with a boomslang harness. It would be the next best thing for helping you tube all the parts you want to run.
Just because a company says their part will add +10hp doesn't mean it will by itself, it always needs appropriate tuning to go along with it.

You'll need to be careful with getting good fuel and keeping the engine tuned up, once you start high HP NA tuning its makes turbos look cheap. And the turbo is way easier on the engine for a street driven car.. Heck to get a ford 2.0 to 150 the spark plug bill alone is awful.. Like 125 bucks for 4. Most higher HP NA motors make their power north of 3500 RPM.
