Debadge or Not?
lol damn wish i would have read this thread before i started working on it lol, i kinda fed up the paint on the badge area, but i will have to wax that area and hope the scratches work off, razor blade for the loose! i did it that way on my srt and no issues
Well got it done. The adhesive was a real pain in the butt. I haven't gotten all of it of and i did scratch the paint a little :'( so i will see what i can do when there is actually light outside lol. Will post picks when i transfer them to my computer
Tis correct! Just adhesive that's a pain in the ass.
Little tip for you guys. Ihave done many and this is how i do it. Use fishing line behind badge and go back and forth behind FIT badge to remove it from adhesive. Use your thumb and roll the remaining adhesive off the car (the black stuff will roll off). Use Goo B Gone to remove the small remaining adhesive. Then useWax of your choice to remove emblem shadow off paint. Once waxed it should look clean like remainig tailgate. So far I have done Three fits, one EVO, One Lancer, And a CRZ this way works flawlessly.
