Anyone have any experience with the AVS custom painted visors? My wife likes the look of them but we're concerned that they won't be as good a product as the JDMs.

"Curve Up" door visor

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has seen this type visor around for sale.
The silver fit is a 2009 JPM model and the closeup is from the Japan Honda site on the accessory page: HondabHonda AccessbFITbƒGƒNƒXƒeƒŠƒA

I haven't seen it before in Fit Freak. Maybe its new to the 09 model? Any thoughts or info on this I'd appreciate it. I like the way it curls up instead of down. Thanks in advance. Len

i just installed my jdm honda visors and i missed a clip on one front and didnt check twice on one of my backs and now there's a tiny gap. it doesnt look bad but i want it to be perfect.

word of advise when putting visors on, check twice before pulling tape.

question:
how hard is it to remove the visors so that i can fix my mistakes?

I can't answer your question on removal, but thanks for the warning on the installation. I am waiting for UPS to deliver my Honda visors now. Installing the Mugen visors on my old '07 Fit was no problem, so I am not particularly worried about the new visors on the new Fit.

Anyone know how to clean the visor? When I bought mines (used) I removed the old double sided sticky tape. And got some goo gone on the visor and now it looks like a dry splotch.

Those look awfully like the ones I ordered from my Honda dealer and like the one's from Bernardi.

The JDM one seems to have more clips though. I'm picking mine up after work today and will post pics after I install.

Just picked up my visors. They look exactly the same as the JDM 09 ones. $60 after tax!

Snap in versions for 2009?

Are there any snap (no tape) Window Deflectors for the 2009 Fit? I had WeatherTech snap-ins for my other car, but it doesn't looks like they offer ones for the 2009 model yet.

My window visor is made by EGR Australia and it's only supported by 3M double sided tape at the back. It's the slim type one with an embossed EGR sticker on it. I'll post pictures of it soon.

There's a whistling sound depending on how low your windows are. I had one side of the visor come off when i was cleaning my window but the tape still holds. I already bought 3M double sided tape just in case i need it in the future.

Hey guys - I just recently installed (then removed) my weathertech visors on an 07 fit. They look awesome except theres a few problems. First -The passenger side window will not raise all the way due to the added friction from the flaps that slide into the window channel. I have made a post on the other thread about possible fixes for the weak power of the passenger side window but I thought i would add one here as well. Second - the ones for the rear windows have a tiny bit of excess materal on them that cause a bowing outward, however this could easily be fixed with a grinding / dremel tool.

I have been in contact with the people from weathertech and they want me to take pictures to show them whats going on, but I figured the guys and girls here on this forum would be a lot faster at shooting out some possible fixes ?

Apart from these setbecks, the visors look fantastic and they have a nice slim profile that complements the 07 fit lines. I like them a lot and I want them to work the way they are supposed to - so ... any words of wisdom?

thanks!

ps. I will be installing them again to take some pictures and Ill be sure to post them here asap - It will be a couple of weeks though (outa town right now)
