So today i decided to relocate my front license plate, thanx tho a few ideas from you guys it was pretty easy however ( ever notice nothing in the history of man has anything good ever followed the word however... sorry tangent) i discovered that when my sales lady put my front plates on the screws she used were to long and go into the car..... now i have 3 lovley holes to stare at .... is it worth complaining ??? or am i wasting my breath ? i've had the car for about a month.

 

ive heard of people complaining and it being fixed, but not after a month.

in for more replies. i was lucky and the dealer only installed the lower bolts. no holes ftw!

dang 3 holes?? i have only 1 hole and it bugs the crap outta me. I would talk to the dealer and see what they can do about it though.

 

i had my fit for 9 months and i said something about it to my dealer and they said whenever i had time to bring it in they would patch and paint it for free.

 

hmm I need to look into this too because I have teh holes too but not only that my plate frame they put behind the plate has some play so it has rubbed the paint on my bumper. I can't move my plate without having to have the whole bumper resprayed because of it.

 

Aw. Crap.

Mine came from the dealership with all 4 screws. I need to check on this.

 

just an update i contacted the dealer yesterday about this and spoke with the gm, well lets just say it turned into WWIII so i think getting this situation resolved will be difficult.
