Hey worst case scenario you get some resin and put it on sand it down and clear coat the whole thing and problem solved.

its really not that easy. thats what the body shop was going to do until he pointed out to me there is nothing underneath the cracked part meaning it would just fall through. its so brittle that sanding it down would probably make it crack more and eventually the spoiler would just be broken completly.

he also pointed out to me that the spoiler is almost cracked from tip to tip and i didnt even see that. he showed me in the sun light and its easily missed at certain angles. i didnt even see that when i took the pics

yeah man nothing behind the cracks. if there was then the guy could fix it but its hallow. thing is i should not have to go through all this for a brand new spoiler expecially since SPOON is suppose to be grade A+ stuff. i bought it new not used and for $500 you would think you got something good.

i would be happier if i got a new one that i didnt have to jack with but then id have to wait another 3-4 months to get a new one and i could end up going through the same shit

That realy sucks, and realy makes me think twice about buying a spoon spoiler. Its situations like this that realy make me hate having to order every thing over the net or the phone and not being able to talk to some one face to face.

along the lines of everyone else...that really blows. badly too

I am not sure if AJ even inspects that stuff before it leaves. That would have been noticed if they did. One other thing, if there are 20 other claims...did the one driver take them to all 20 locations? I think not.

I agree with the body shop saying it was poorly made. You can tell clear as day that it is a manufacturing error...nothing more, nothing less. I wouldn't continue talking to the shipping company as I am confident that DID NOT happen in transit.

Keep fighting the fight man, you need a replacement...not a repair.

AJR said they only way they will re-order a new one is if the shipping company decides to pay the full amount.

think about this, i have to wait for the shipping company's claims department to give me a call which could take up to 3 weeks. Then whenever they do call me back which could very well be 3 weeks and they decide to not pay to get me a new one well i just waisted a month and a half to hear that HELL NO!!!. thing is the package was not damaged only one side of it had minimal damage and that was from the bottom corner of the spoiler where it started to poke through that was it.

AJR even asked me if the box was damaged and i said no and even they said "thats was weird"

thanks man. AJR said they are not dealing with that shipping company anymore. it very well is made bad because its been sanded down very far and its very flimsy at the end. The guy at the body shop held it up and you could see right through it

I'm really surprised that the spoon quality is so poor. My Seibon replica seems fine to me other than the fading. It is holding together really well. I hope they take care of you for are you troubles and money spent.
