Cracked Spoon Spoiler
so today i opened my arrived package that i waited almost 4 months to get. I was super excited to put on my spoiler finally and then i started taking off the bubble wrap and pulled the spoiler out of the box. I examined it and didnt see anything wrong with the spoiler until i spotted a small crack at the top. There were little pieces missing and a crack thats about 8in long.

Ok so here is the scoop. i contacted aj racing the day i opened the box on saturday they said they could not do anything and to wait till monday and i would get a call.
i got the call and they said there were 20 other claims from damage from that shipping company and that i would have to file a claim through the shipping company since they were not the reciever of the spoiler and it was ok when they shipped it off to me.
i got the number to the shipping company called and left a message. i waited till the following monday and called 2 more times. nothing. i called AJR back and said i had not heard from the shipping company and AJR told me the shipping company would probably be calling me later that day or tuesday. NOTHING
wednesday came and still nothing. i called AJR back thursday and the shipping company stopped by AJR and got my information but AJR never called me to tell me.
so next thursday i get a call from the shipping company saying i needed to file a claim and give all my info down and that the form was pretty much self explanitory and it would be good to get a quote from a body shop but it could probably take up to 3 weeks for them to call me back.
the next day, Friday i went to 2 different body shops. One said that it might be repairable but it would cost me $100. the other body shop told me the spoiler was made poorly( i was shocked) and that it was a manufactures error, that the carbon fiber was not completely wrapped all the way around and it ended at the tip of the spoiler.
whoever made it sanded it down to far and made it very brittle and you feel how rough it was on the edge. the body shop said that it really couldnt be fixed and that i should call to see if i can get a new one cause that would be my best bet. i called AJR back right after i was told that and they said no that was not the case when they got it. I should get with the shipping company and see if maybe they would want to pay to have it ordered again ( another 4 months) or to see if they could pay to fix it( not happening).
so here i am still with a piece of shit going round and round.

either that or it was damaged in transit. i'm just ajr will replace it. just keep trying to keep in contact and let us all know what happens. good luck!

It's where the two carbon pieces meet together. They seem to have sanded it too far, that's what looks like what made it crack. I know how you feel though man. I waited 5 months for mine. GL with the spoiler. I hope it all gets worked out

nothing happened.i got a $500 piece of shit .
body shop said it was made poorly and AJR says get with the shipping company and the shipping company says make and claim and pretty much wait till they give me a call which could take up to 3 weeks
