Honda OEM locking gas cap
#23
I ordered 17680-SAA-G00 from Bernardi, $35.56 + shipping, works perfectly on my 2011. Personally, I like having a separate key for the cap, rather than rekeying it, since you have to have the key in the lock as you remove the cap, if you have a lot of keys on your ring it gets cumbersome.

I wanted to post an update for people in the south bay area.
After calling + visiting lots of locksmiths in the bay area (Santa Clara, Milpitas, San Jose), and finding they couldn't handle this, I found "Rescue Ron" through a recommendation.
He's a mobile locksmith and did the job perfectly. Cool guy, and only charged me $25 (I gave him a $5 tip for being so cool/friendly).
Note: Normally he charges more since he drives out to you, but he happened to be close by when I called, and said he'd waive that fee if I'd drive out to where he was.

Totally can't be a fit cap. Just came from two Honda dealer and was told they make no such thing for the fit. Since the op says it fits I totally believe u but now I need to know what car it was meant for so I can get one!! =)

The locking gas caps being used on Fits are all made by Stant originally for Elements. Before you buy one from any source, remember that they are larger in dia. than the stock gas cap, and there is no tether that actually works with the locking cap unless you make one yourself. The tethers being sold on eBay and Amazon DO NOT WORK on the Stant locking caps. So, without a tether to hang the cap from, you have to set the cap on your roof while you refill, and remember to put the cap back on before you drive away. Surprise------ some people can't remember to do that.

I actually prefer it the way it is. Gas siphoning is not of any concern to me, nor is somebody pouring sugar in my gas tank. I do a lot of running and if I go somewhere like a forest preserve I can just park, pop the fuel door and put the key in there. 99.9% of people aren't going to realize that you can just open it by pushing the door in.
