'09 DRL light

I have a 2009 Honda Fit Sport. I noticed last night that the high beam on the left (driver's side) headlight is out. Then today I noticed the DRL light is on. It may have been on last night, but it's kind of hidden by the steering wheel. Could the DRL light be on because the high beam has burned out?

Yes. Fix the headlight.

The DRL in these cars is actually your high beam bulb at a lower voltage. This is also why the high beam side of these bulbs tend to burn out quicker than the low beam. I pulled the DRL fuse from my car, and now just turn the lights on when I need them. It's up to you, but if you want to have that light off on the dash and have high beam lights available, it's time to replace bulbs!
