it's great to be here! i'm wondering about this check engine light that just came on, as i'm prepping to drive to Texas from WA. i'll do my best to explain as i'm a fitness professional and not a car enthusiast. but my check engine light came on 4 months ago and when I took it in, since my car mileage was well over the warranty, i'm at 90k, they weren't going to replace the CAT and it was going to cost me 4K to fix. a buddy suggested fuel injection cleaner and upon putting that in, the check engine light went off. this happened 2x until today. I went to an oreily's and put in a cat cleaner so i'm hoping that will be a short term fix until i get back to Texas. what are some options? I owe $7-8K on it and don't want to spend $4k to fix it from a honda dealership. thanks guys!
