New owner here! '09 GE

Just bought a '09 Sport at auction with lots of miles (176k). It has a lot of issues including a p0303 code and no acceleration (have another post for that). Power steering doesn't seem to work either.

Going to do a bunch of maintenance - plugs/coils, tensioner/serpentine belt, filters, transmission fluid drain/fill, oil change, coolant drain/fill with thermostat. Have a mobile mechanic coming next week so I'll ask about valve adjustment.

Anything else I should consider? Doing some of this is my winter hobby to have something to do.

Welcome!

Check to see if your car is apart of the axel recall. And valve adjustment ASAP. Other than that they are great little cars.

Make sure to start a project thread with pictures. We love that shit.

Yeah, going to look at the axles when I change the oil/transmission fluid and see about heading to the dealer. Car isn't moving at the moment so trying to replace a few things to get it mobile.
