I'm having a problem with a loud clunk in the front of my 2015 Fit. A mechanic put it on the lift. He pried, wiggled inspected the front suspension, but could not find anything definite. Th "clunk" does not effect the steering or the operation of the car - just an annoying clunk.
He said he could start throwing parts at it, but with no guarantee of a fix.
My Fit has 62000 miles and was an early Gen 3. I actually bought it in late 2014. Love the car otherwise - some problems early, but very little problems until now. Any suggestions?

 

Does it generally happen when you go over bumps?
if so, I suspect is the anti roll bar drop links.

It does get much worse when I travel on rougher roads. so I will pursue that possibility.
Are "the roll bar drop links" the same as the "sway bar end links"?

Yes its the same thing as sway bar end links.

They are inexpensive to replace, I would do both side.

 

You can disconnect the end links completely and test drive it to determine if they are the the problem before you buy new ones.
