Ge Base vs Sport

Ge Base vs Sport

Are Ge Base model as fun to drive as the sports model?

I've had both and the main differences on the Sport are going to be the bumpers, some features like steering wheel controls, paddle shifters, different interior, and sport wing for the most part. Other than that its pretty much the same car.

Yep, agreed @cutlass . The Fit Sport also has a Driver's Seat Armrest, which I find a welcome feature on longer trips.

The Sport comes with a 17mm rear anti-roll bar, the Base model doesn't have one. This does make a difference in handling.

It's true the sport has a rear anti sway bar (not an independent component but one soldered to the twist beam suspension). But you can add a Progress bar to either model which would make them very close afterwards; six bolts, very easy. They're even still available new somehow. So I wouldn't make decision based solely on that. Yes, the sport is more desirable, interior is nicer too, but it's probably smart to buy the best one you can and then add the bar if you really wanted it.
