Well, I've just been rear-ended twice in my new xA. The first time was Nov. '05, just a month after I got the xA. It had 500 miles and my fam got rear-ended by an F-150 w/ a travel trailer. That caused $7k in damages. Just this past Sat I got rear-ended again by a Versa! The funny thing is I had just pulled out of the Toyota dealership gettin my car appraised for trade-in. We were considering a Matrix or the Fit for the extra cargo room.

Anyway, I did some research and found out that the Fit has as much cargo room as the Matrix, but the Matrix (with the same options + sunroof) costs $3k more than the Fit Sport. So, we're getting a Fit Sport! Now, we just have to wait until the xA is fixed and we'll put our order in for the Fit.

Thankfully, dealers in our area are charging MSRP with a short wait time.

 

Good luck on the purchase. I hope everything goes smoothly for you. Make sure they don't mess your front bumper up with the license plate holder before you buy it. I had to get mine fixed a week after i bought it.
