Yet another new Fit owner! (YANFO)

Hello Fit Freaks!

I am a long time lurker, first time poster. First I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this community; this website is a great resource for all things Fit. It was very helpful when I was doing new car research.

I got a blue Fit last weekend and am enjoying the hell out of it. It is of the base, automatic variety. It was a hard decision between base vs sport, but I think in the end, a base fit was the right choice. I use the Fit mainly to commute to and from work, ~30 miles per day. The car has lots of pep and is a pleasure to drive.

I have been looking at accessories for my new car and plan to get, floormats and keyless entry among other things. Anyone have suggestions on these products? I will definitely check out the comments on the other sections of the forum.

I am going to wash and wax the car today and will post pictures when it is completely clean. I might be developing OCD when it comes to the car's paint. I have spent hours reading car washing comments in the Fit Care section and am prepared by buying various special cloths and washing solutions. I have read comments on claybar, and want to try it out. However, I could not find the product after visiting Autozone, Kragen, and Walmart. Does anyone know where I can buy claybar? I guess I'll have to wait to claybar the exterior.

Anyways, Happy Fitting.

Another good looking blue fit! There is a lot of accessories that will make the fit even more pleasurable to drive, it just depends on what you want to focus on first? Exterior Appearance, Performance or Comfort?

I bought mine at PEPBoys. They had the mothers clay bar kit for $16.00 and the Meguire's kit for $19.00. Enjoy the fit!!!

Thanks scarygoldlion, I will have to check out Pepboys before ordering online. Hopefully they have it and I can try giving the car the full detailing treatment this weekend.

For accessories, I am mainly looking for comfort and functional upgrades. Although after looking though some of the pictures here, exterior appearance maybe a priority too!
