Ok, this may sound silly. I'm a new mom to a badass sweet little 15mo boy and am *just* now getting a chance to enjoy my '09 fit sport that my husband bought me for Christmas in 2013.. and I am curious as to what type of transmission fluid everyone uses. Also, spark plug preferences? I am new to working on everything on my own without hubbys help but with his supervision lol! Help a girl out. Thanks much

Also, your 2009 Fit has an airbag recall. You can get a free loaner from Honda....and should do so.

 

Auto! And yes I got the notice in the mail but have to wait until July to get it done it says. Free loaner sounds delightful!

 

For auto, just use Honda ATF.

Getting a recall should be as easy as going to the dealership & requesting one.

 

Yeah I told my hubby I wanted to just go in whenever he could take a day off. Seems ridiculous to wait. Thank you!
