Found my Fit
Found my Fit
My commute got a lot longer about one year ago, so I sold the Subaru Baja Turbo that required 91 octane and got 21 mpg, and have recently entered the world of Fit ownership.
I found a 2015 (6-speed) that was hit in the left rear and rebuilt. Got it for a reasonable price and now I'm looking to make some upgrades to make my commute as luxurious as it is economic. I already took some of the money I'm saving on gas and signed up for Spotify premium, so I have tunes. I'll go search the archives for recommendations, but I am interested in ways to:
-make the driver's seat more comfortable (not that it isn't already, but you can always make improvements, and I spend more time commuting than I'd like, so I want to make it as enjoyable as possible. )
-Improve the quality of the stereo
-improve general comfort
-any improvements that don't sacrifice fuel economy.
I plan to do a lot of my own maintenance, so I'll reach out for knowledge.
I hope this is the last car I buy that I have to drive!

I just posted in another thread, with someone not satisfied with the seats.
I think the easiest, simplest thing is to look and and try some of the many available seat cushions you can buy.
I bought one at Costco...it's a memory foam deal, and it works pretty good.
Did you enjoy your Subaru Baja?
I always of thought those looked like fun vehicles.

The Baja was great, I put 80k miles on it, and only had one major unexpected problem (turbo went out). I assume it'll be the most versatile vehicle I ever own. And it was really fun on winding dirt roads. I only regret not taking a mountain bike trip with it on the White Rim Trail (100 mile mining road near Arches National Monument in Utah).
I've been checking into seat covers and cushions... and looking forward to the learning and sharing knowledge on the forum. Thanks!
