Trying to upgrade my audio for the first time (budget buld)
*budget build, ugh
Well, maybe first time isn't accurate. I've swapped in plug'n'play OEM upgrades for the door speakers of a previous car. What I'm trying to do with my '19 Fit EX is a little more involved and uncharted territory for me. I do have a rough plan, though I'm not sure if I'm 100% going about it the right way. I'm not trying to blow the windows out and I'm not looking for high fidelity audio, either. Just something better than stock and with some bass, any bass, without being too expensive, space-consuming, or time-consuming

- Tap the front speakers to feed into an LC2i LOC. I've read from the Bassguitarist1985's stickied thread that there's a big bass roll-off after 100Hz and the LC2i provides bass restoration.
- Feed the LOC into a powered subwoofer (looking at JBL Basspro Nano as that'll easily fit under/behind the passenger seat.
- Upgrade the front door speakers (I've read the OEM HU chip provides 28W peak? So maybe replace with 40W peak speakers? Looking for quality over power here)
- Upgrade the rear door speakers (Ditto)
- I've read the tweeters are decent enough, so not planning on messing with them.
- [Optional] Use the remaining empty 2-channel speaker output of the LC2i to feed into a 2-channel amp to power better front door speakers, maybe 2-ways? I rarely have passengers, let alone anyone in the back seat, so I'm not worried about more powerful speakers back there. Since this is my cheap work commute car, I rarely have more than myself in the car.
