Has anyone painted their light housings. If you don't understand take a look at the top of this screen the yellow FIT with black headlight housings? Better yet have them chromed?

 

There's kind of no point -- you can just go and buy the stock headlights from a black Fit and bolt them on. Chrome I could see doing, or some color that isn't a factory offering, but other than that it's easier to buy them.

 

So far I have only seen people trade headlights with each other.

I was thinking of asking my body shop if they were going to toss my headlights when they replace them and instead just give them to me. Probably will call them tomorrow.

If I can get them, I was going to try to see if I could find a good way to open them up and paint them without too much (extra*) damage.
