Black surrounding Fog Light

Hey Guys,

how do you get the surrounding of the fog lamps black? Is there a cover you can buy or do we have to paint it?

in order to source the covers, you have to buy the whole foglight kit. you cant just buy the covers.

I just did this last night, it turned out great. I took off my stock ones, sanded them down a bit, then hit it with about 3 coats of flat black then a clear coat. Love the results, pics soon.

What grit sandpaper would you use to help paint adhesion, also would a paint primer work just as well?

I just finish up with the painting the fog light housing and and coming out really nice I post pic soon. So I just use the Krylon Fuison paint the flat black or satin and bottle of ammonia I clean off the housing with the ammonia b/c it help the paint stay on the housing better then paint thinner, apply 4 coat each coat was allow 30 hour of drying. Now just waiting to for the last coat to dry up. install it back on.
