Brighter Backup Lights

Hi, I was wonder if anyone have experimented with brighter 7440 backup blubs. The reason being is that I do not feel that the stock backup lights is bright enough to be "safe," since I want people TO KNOW that I'm backing up . Since I have the N1 LED taillights, it seems that the backup light is not bright enough.

Currently after a bit of research, I found there a few options for the blubs. I do like LEDs however for a backup light I am unsure since most LEDs are directionals. So I believe best way to getter better and brighter is to go with a better bulb or just go HID for the rear (if there any). So far I found a few replacement for the OEM

1. The PIAA Xtreme Super White

2. Ebay's LED Bulbs (some out there focus with only one directions and some with "angels eyes" so the lights can be seen though out the rear)

For those to skip the reading , my question have someone replaced and upgraded their 7440 backup bulbs?

Thank You

P.S aren't you glad Claymore won't be here for awhile to yell SEARCH

I use these and its that dual type bulb instead of single. the bulb in the pic is the oem one. But when I installed it, the brightness increased a lot.

I just bought two pairs of the PIAA Xtreme White Bulbs and the nokya 2500k yellow fog lights, one for my fit and one for my bro's... If you guys get the tule fog that fresno gets, you should upgrade...

It not that I can't see behind me, it that I want people to see me . And I could get a backup cam with my navi, I just felt that I rather use the money somewhere else .
