hey. so i was wondering if it is possible / where to buy those rings that light up around the key hole to start the car. also if there was any way to have it run for like a minute after the door was closed and then turn off?

It having a delay when turning off would depend if you can find a power source that does that very same behavior.

 

thanks for the link, thats exactly what im looking for.

right now the idea is to wire it to turn on when the car is unlocked, and off when the car is locked (so not to drain battery when the car is not in use)

if anyone has any idea on how to do this i would be very appreciative.

fall back plan is to wire it to turn on with the headlights (also wouldn't mind being told which wires to connect it to)
