Interior Ambient Light Install

Has anyone installed this? Seems like all the parts dealership pulled it from their website. Is it no more?

I do not see a difference between Canada and USA models. They are both NA (North American) and not fundamentally different.

Hey "Ah Ed", when are you getting your FIT? I would like to see how your interior ambient lighting looks like!

Anyone know if the NA Fits are pre-wired at all for ambient lighting? Is it a simple plug-in, or is there more advanced wiring involved? Not that I mind wiring it myself, just curious if it'll be a 20-minute project or 2 hours.

I wonder if we can find an install .pdf for the Canadian kits...

I tried to email a canadian dealership to ask if they would sell the kit to us US people.. but never got a response...

I glossed over the instruction sheet for an 06 civic. It seems pretty involved. You have to remove a bunch of trim items to access the power distribution box. Also, some of the trim pieces need to be drilled to fit the ambient light assembly. I want to try it nonetheless.

If you want to be cheap. Download SKYPE. They allow free PC to Phone calls to US and Canada for 1 year.

BTW, Skype is now owned by eBay.

I don't think that we will need to do that.. just a few calls should do the trick... Also let us know what you find out with your call and hope you don't get somebody that doesn't speak english lol that would be a waste!
