09 Honda Fit FX35-R

Here it is before and after....
Thanks to Rich at HID Illusionz & Matt with the guys at The Retrofit Source
FX35's w/ FX-R Lens
Matsushita Gen 4 Ballasts
BMW E90 bezels w/ the famous dog bowl extensions
Housings painted black w/ a clear coat to make it a bit glossier to match the lip kit.

Keep in mind the cutoff is a bit off due to cheap bulbs. I've had the 85122+'s an they are awesome, and the Osram CBI's even more....

Good grief!! That looks awesome!! I wish I could spare the coin to do a retro-conversion because that just looks brilliant!

i was trying to get it look like this, you can only go so far with the means of money. but I got it as close as possible.

"we all know mugen has more money and methods to create parts then I do"

how long was the turnaround time?

i poked around the website, custom colors could take about 2 weeks, so i wanted to see how fast just the retrofitting took

he had my lights for about a month. (met up and gave them to him... then he was waiting for me..) when I told him the exact time I wanted to meet up/ have them by w/ payment it was done then....

And if you talk to Rich, tell him Jared "the guy with the nice blue Fit" referred you. lol

Just send him an email with what you want and when you would like them done by and he'll hook you up..... even if you do not have the cash at that time, but you know you want him to do it, send them to him anyway so he can have them done when you need them....

And about the custom colors... If you have the paint, he could have it done sooner I think "don't hate me if I'm wrong" the 2 weeks would be the time spent getting and receiving the parts/colors.

I also did this sort of.... I told him what bezels I wanted (not the regular after market ones there are ex: gatling gun, gti, ocular, etc.) and he ordered them from ebay and added it to the bill.... and then I ordered the projectors from TRS, payed TRS, shipped to Rich, and the cost was deducted from the payment Rich received. (Cheaper for the projectors I was getting)
