2nd Gen GE8 projectors

I'm not looking to do a retrofit, but am just looking for a simple full headlamp with projectors that I can throw some HIDs into.

I was thinking Depo or TYC, but does anyone have any examples that will fit on my car (2010)? Also sources for?

Any particular reason for the projector headlamps?

There is zero performance gain from using these as compared to your stock lamps however they will have less glare.

Really just less glare more than anything.

Why not spend the money on a retrofit instead?

You'll have less invested, better performance, much more customization, and much more support from the seller of the HID components than one for HID components and one for some cheap aftermarket projector setup. I can make the pricing VERY appealing for you.

I'm open to a retrofit but what all work is involved in doing it? I don't want to ruin my stock lights.

If you don't paint the reflector bowls and go with a Mini H1 or Mini D2S projector, you can even return the lamps back to stock as there is no cutting at all!

Check out this guide to give some insight as to the process: http://www.theretrofitsource.com/pdf...S_Retrofit.pdf

Feel free to email me directly if you have any questions about the kit or process as this is what I do all day every day. Andrew@theretrofitsource.com is my email.

Out of sheer curiosity, how much is a retrofit kit?

Retail starts at $270 complete, but I'll take care of FitFreak regulars.

Not sure if I qualify as a regular just yet but even $270 IS tempting! Can't afford it at the moment but maybe down the road.
