Which wires do the resistors splice into? I think it is the black wire and the gray wire, leaving the yellow wire and green wire?

Yep, saw that. It was included with the bulbs. I followed those instructions and I'm still getting hyper blinking.

I'll check under my hood at lunch time, at work. Basically one side of the resistors go to ground (frame) and the other side to the positive wire for the blinker. If you have an LED where a bulb was, you need a resistor. For example, I have the switchbacks in the front, and LED in the rear. So I have a resistor in front and in the rear as well.

They are 7443 type A switch backs. After I put on the scotch clamps, I still got hyper blinking. I don't think it hurts anything. It's just kind of an annoying tempo

Yes, same as what I have. Now if you still have incandescent bulbs in the rear then all you need is two load resistors for the front. Obviously if you have LED's in the rear then you need two in the rear as well. That would make a total of 4 resistors. Thats for my config.

Edit: yes the scotch locks are a bit cloogy but they do work. Some guys actually strip but dont cut the vehicle wire and solder the external wire onto the exposed wire and cover with liquid tape.

Rear Right: Green Wire----Resistor----Ground (Frame)
Rear Left: Yellow Wire----Resistor----Ground (Frame)

Front Right: Grey w/green stripe----Resistor----Ground (Frame)
Front Left: Yellow Wire----Resistor----Ground (Frame)

Thank you!! That helps a ton. I had it wrong. Electronics are not my thing.

I followed the instructions and attached it to the outside wires and that is not correct.

I just watched the vid. So helpful. Thanks a bunch.

On the interior. I like having red led's so if the kids need a light on while driving it doesn't bother the driver. Just looking for opinions....should I go all red or a combination? Red in the dome and white in the map lights or vise versa? Thanks.

I'd go combo. White LED for maps and RED for dome.

Is It normal for these lights to stay on dim mode even when the car is off?

If all the doors and hatch are closed properly, the dome and map lights should fade and shut off completely. If you leave the doors or hatch open the lights will stay on for 10 minutes I believe, then the internal circuit shuts it off to prevent battery drain.

Do the lights turn off when you have the regular incandescent lights installed?

If you have the map lights pushed on and the dome light flipped all the way to the on position, they'll stay on all night. It's the only thing I can think it could be. I think the crcuit cuts it off and it worked with the incandescents? There's nothing about LEDs that would cause it to stay on.

I think you left them on?

I put the dome on door mode and no I did not leave them on by mistake.

If you have some check yours if they are on but very dim.

Do you think I should just put my stock bulbs back?

I replaced my rear plate light with them and those stay off completely with no dim effect.
