Is there another alternative to adding a aux input in base Fits?

Before you guys say anything...yes I've read the thread up top.


But it seems a little much to actually solder wires one by one to the HU.

Now I was looking here
Honda Automotive Parts

and it says that the manufacturer that made the HU is Alpine?

Can I use Alpine's MBus cable like so?

No, because im pretty sure the deck doesnt have any out ports on the back.

from what i recall, the last time i was back there, i didn't see a port that fits that sort of cable...

nice try though, you might as well just get a headphone to RCA connector, and just make a pretty snazzy design.

You would have to contact them to find out if it works with the FIT thou.
Doesn't look like they have an aux yet.

USA Spec, Peripheral Electronics and Soundgate are the leaders in this stuff typically.

The other option is to get a Metra or Scosche dash kit and put a real radio in. All the latest models have aux in's and ipod hookups.

yeah I'm just gonna wait until the Scosche kit comes out,the stock radio really doesnt sound that good anyways
