aftermarket seats and seat rail questions

IMO I thought it looked kind of weird, so i just went with both. I just have OCD like that. haha

products
Besides I think some other poster (MK GD3?) tried them already with good results
Why not all-Bride or all-Recaro? Here's my story...
I got an offer for a second-hand black Recaro SR3 in good condition (one month used) for PhP17,000 (US$1 = PhP47 or so), but brand-new Recaro "baseframes"/seat rails are pretty expensive---almost as expensive as the seat! Bride's rails are half their price over here in the Philippines.
Funny thing, really. Over here, in terms of seats, Bride's are about 30% pricier than Recaros, but Recaro's baseframes are twice the price of Bride's seat rails.

add a 1A or 2A fuse in series with the resistor so it doesn't come an ignitor in case the SRS sends a signal. you can either just solder it or use some small female spade connectors and e-tape over it.
i thought i used 3.33 ohms in the past but that was on a gen5 prelude.

I used a 2.2ohm resistor from the local electronics store because radio shack near me did not stock it (not 2.2K, which RS did have). After you shove the resistor in, you will have to reset the light if it's on now, which you can do with a small diameter paper clip as described elsewhere on the forum or following the sequence in the the helms manual (though they say not to do it with a clip, it works.).
Note that the seat belt wire and the seat position sensor must also be plugged in to keep the air bag light off. Tested each one by itself and it trips the air bag light 6 seconds after disconnection. However, as soon as they are plugged back in again, the light will go off after removing the key once and restarting the car, unlike the air bag connector which does need the full reset. The seat postition sensor does not have to be grounded and can be tucked anywhere as long as it's plugged in.

Too much of a hassle & money for too little of an advantage is all I can say. The USDM ITR seats still ain't that cheap so I would at the very least get the JDM ITR Recaro.

hey guys i just have a few questions,
so by putting in aftermarket seats, i will have to bypass the airbag system.
this can be done with just resistors?
after the resistors no more lights and all other airbags will still work?
and what is this paper clip method for resetting?
i am just a little confused and dont want to put in the seats if none of the airbags will work as the car is a daily driver.
i also want to get the lights of the dash.

For all you people who did a seat swap on your USDM GD3's, how did you mount your passenger side seatbelt? I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna do this. I'm using DC2 Recaro's and Bride RO rails.
