Our UK ones have auto up and down, be worth looking on ebay UK and contacting some of the breakers yards, I'm sure they'd work if connected. Like I said bout my Teg, that had auto down but no up which the JDM one I fitted did and that worked fine!

My 2006 Honda Civic EX has the auto up/down feature for the driver's side. Methinks the switches are the same but I'll measure them tonight. It should just be a "plug and play" mod.

Yes. And I looked at my switches last night but I haven't removed the panel yet so I don't know if the window switches are seperate from the mirror and door lock buttons (as they all appear to be one integrated piece). Anyone have the Civic '06+ Service Manual?

Does anyone know how to do the auto up/down function and enable the windows to be raised and lowered via the lock/unlock button on the key fob (Like BMW)?
I did this to my 06 si. After I get the HELMS manual. Ill do it to my Fit as well.

Could you explain how and what you used to do it. I really wouldn't mined having my windows go up/down using my key fob.
Thanks!

Im going to do it to my fit first and then maybe install them locally for a charge.

I dont need the helms manual anymore... I figured out how to do it. I just need to buy the parts, make the OEM alarm interface, and im good to go.

i want to do this but i don't have the patience or time to figure this out right now... auto up/down on all windows plus control of windows without key in ignition (as long as doors are unlocked) also with the ability to press the unlock button on the remote keyless entry three times and all windows go down and lock to make all windows close

found some info for the RSX:
One-touch Auto Up/Down Windows (DEI 530T) DIY Guide - Club RSX Message Board
you would need two of those modules basically

i discussed this with some of the electronics instructors at my school, and most auto up/auto down set ups have a custom module wired to them that is obviously not existent in the non auto switches. the module just adds the holding contact type controls so that when the button is depressed enough it can be released and the window still goes down.

i would agree that just getting extra modules and putting them on the other buttons would do the trick.

i don't know how much it would cost, as the modules would doubtfully be readily available. space might also be an issue.

then of course...you gotta decide if the convenience is worth all the extra trouble of tearing the controls apart.

the key fob stuff is a whole different ballgame i think.

did anyone manage to get this working on their fit. i haven't ripped anything apart, but if someone managed to get this working. i'd go through the trouble.

Well, I have a brazilian made (it's really made in brazil!) 2004 Honda Fit, and here in Brazil every accessory shop sells a module which can easily be installed and does everything you need. It automates all windows UP, and has a timer which enables the power windows for 2 hours after you turn ignition off. But if you leave the car (open a door) the timer turns off after one minute. If you lock the doors, it immediately turns off. Also, everytime you open a door it turns on for a minute. Very useful when entering the car after parking in a sunny place. It also enables closing windows when turning the alarm on. I have this in my Fit, and I added an additional feature: everytime I switch the A/C to recirculation mode, all the windows go up. Makes sense, doesn't it? Why leaving windows open if you want the recirculation? Here's the link for the manufacturer's website: Soft Eletrônica: Alarme, Travas, Módulos para vidros elétricos e Antena eletrônica You have to choose PW42L, then 'aplicação', then Honda Fit, then one of the links to see how to install it. This module, specifically, is made for automate closing windows, but the manufacturer suggest using a second module, just like the first, but installed on the DOWN wires, so that it automates opening windows too.

a aftermarket module will work.
other than that i don't think getting switches will work.
when i had my door apart i noticed that the switch was a
one piece unit with a big circuit board. i don't think thats going
to happen.
