has anyone tried to put a microphone into the AUX input on the fit? ive wanted to see what would happen but i dont have one lying around.. let me know if this works

I've done things like that numerous times with my new beetle (SQ competition car. It has to be a self powered mic. Not one that needs phantom power. I've also hooked my guitar to my sound system and sat in the back seat playing . It;s pretty cool
