stock headunit, rear inputs?

does anyone have a pic or diagram of what the rear on the headunit looks like? i understand it is an alpine headunit, someone i know was curious to know if the alpine ipod cable could plug into the rear of the headunit instead of buying an expensive ipod interface. anyone know? i dont want to yank my head unit out to look, im sure someone here would know.
